Welcome to the youth and junior section of Hemel Hempstead Cycling Club. Currently we have about 50 younger members in the club. They regularly take part in youth mountain bike rides, coached activities, taster sessions at the velodrome or at local circuiits, and even for a few, racing regularly in regional and national events.
We have a youth section for under 16 year olds and we have a junior squad for 16 to 18 year olds and aspiring racers. Both of these are open to all and only require that enthusiasm is brought along.
Hemel Hempstead Cycling Club is recogised by its Clubmark status as providing a safe and well organised environment for children to get experience of cycling. Either for fun or in competition.

Youth/Junior Racing
Following on from a successful start in 2008 we want to continue to grow in 2012. This last year has seen youth/junior members take part in mountain bike races, cyclo-x, road racing, time trials and triathlon. This is in addition to skills sessions and a trip to Newport Velodrome.
