Hemel Hempstead Cycling Club

The Club's 2011 Christmas Lunch ride has a new venue. After a number of successful runs from Aldbury we have decided to switch to the pleasant local village of Potten End and the Plough pub. There is plenty of room for us and they have a special Christmas Menu.

On the day we will start a clubrun from the village and end it there in time to sit for 12:30. There is room to lock bikes up at the back of the pub garden (gate on the side), and room for parking in the surrounding streets. With the pub being a fair bit closer to Hemel and Berko too, then we hope that a number could do without the car as it's possible to get back even without lights, or just for a few miles at most.

What do we want you to do now? Well just look at the menu and let us know you will be coming, and for those doing the ride tell us the main course you want (Beef/Turkey/Veggie) beforehand so the pub can be certain to have enough for us. The choice of starters and/or desert can be done when we sit down. The price for 2 courses (main and either starter or desert) is £14.95, 3 courses £17.95, payable on the day.
