Hemel Hempstead Cycling Club

Earlier this week Bob Addy, life member and Vice President of our Club became Masters National Champion of Australia. He won the Masters Criterium and followed this up with 2nd in the time trial and a win in the road race to win the overall prize.

He won the Masters Criterium by breaking away and lapping the field so won the race outright for all age groups.

The next day he rode the Time Trial and was pipped by 2 seconds from winning outright but was winner in his age category. He then followed up with an outright win in the Road Race.

He also got best "All Round Rider" ---- I wonder how!!!

A fantastic series of performances by a really fit and youthful looking rider who races at the SAME weight he did many years ago. He was riding a Hemel Skinsuit which I sent to him recently and he "Christened" with a win as Western Australian Champion
