2009 Chiltern Classics

Could someone who is in the know post the dates of next years reliability rides?

I have had people from outside the club asking me if I know when they are. They have come to our website and been disappointed to find no information about them yet.

Yes, that is all correct as I know Roger sent all this info out to a load of places about 2 weeks ago. I also know he asked Simon to put it on the site... But I think Simon is working on the 2009 revision of the site, due for launch over the Xmas break and had planned on including it in that. I'll see if I can update the 2008 page with the 2009 details as a stop-gap.

Edit: now done - http://www.hemelcycling.org.uk/content.aspx?PageID=79

Just a thank you for the company provided by the large contingent of Hemel riders on the CC Luton ride today. Sunny but cold with the odd icy patch and a lighter than forecast easterly wind provided ideal conditions. After the weather of the last couple of months it felt good just to get a long ride in my legs in reasonable conditions.

Also just did the 2010 Luton reliability ride. Great morning out. I wasn't up to riding with the Hemel contingent on the long ride but did the 40 miler with some friends from Tring, taking it in turns to be lanterne rouge. Well organised and signposted route, just a couple of tricky icy patches which we walked over. We co-incided with a motorbike run at one point but they soon turned off back towards MK and left us in peace.
