The Workshop, held on Monday 27th September at 20.00 comprises a brief overview of Sports Psychology, an introduction to mental toughness (what it is, how to find it, how to keep it), and a question and answer session at the end.
We are once again holding our triathlon championships at the the Bedford Autumn Sprint triathlon. This excellent event is well run, accessible to beginners and with a slightly long bike favours the bikers amongst us!! The distances are 400m swim, 24km bike and 5km run.
Entry in advance is required as the event is open to all.

CC Luton 100km & 40miles (start 9.30 am)
This is the sixth and last event of the Chiltern Classics Reliability Rides for 2012. The route commences from the village hall in Edlesborough and travels through Slapton before turning south back through Ivinghoe to climb Ivinghoe Beacon. From Ringshall, the route continues through Little Gaddesden and Nettleden to Potten End where it makes it's way onto the A4251 south of Berkhamsted before heading out through Bovingdon and Chesham.

This is a great new Reliability Ride through the Chilterns starting at the Hemel Hempstead CC club house at Nash Mills Recreation Centre, near Kings Langley.

The start and finish is from the Ickenham Guide Hut in Community Close in Ickenham and the route travels out towards High Wycombe.
