Adult Coaching Sessions
Our adult coaching sessions are aimed at those riders wanting to improve. We aim to provide a pathway to greater fitness, safe group riding skills and even race skills for those that want it.
Adult sessions are aimed at junior riders (16 and over) and older (no upper limit). We have access to the brilliant closed road circuits at Bovingdon and operate in a very safe environment. All our coaches are British Cycling qualified.
We are very inclusive and try to offer opportunities to all.

Bovingdon Summer Skills Training
We will again be running adult training sessions at the Bovingdon circuit in 2018. The sessions have evolved on from what we did last year and will work for two groups.
The improvers group are going to do roughly 50% skills and 50% fitness work. Fitness wise, this group might be currently riding on our A or B rides.
The goals for this group will focus on improving their confidence riding in a group and getting better at basic skills like cornering and sheltering from the wind.
The second group is aimed at more experienced riders and will suit fitter riders currently riding the longer C or D rides through to 3/4 cat racers.
Participants in this group will work on 30% skills and 70% fitness and should expect a pretty hard work out. You'll learn how to ride in a fast group, riding pace-lines and simulating some race skills.
When and where
Sessions will run from May to August. Full details will be published here in March.
Sessions will be held at the Bovingdon Circuit and will use the full bomber circuit and also the new shorter fighter circuit.
What bike will I need?
These sessions are suitable to road bikes. Please come along with a bike in good working order, don't forget your helmet and remember a drink.
What age can come?
We are aiming these sessions at junior and above. So 16 and older through to vets. All are welcome and you'll be riding with others of similar fitness.
Cyclo Cross Coaching
The 2018 cyclo-cross season starts in October so we are going to spend September getting ready. We plan to run a Saturday session each week in September to hit the cross season at full speed.
More details later in the year.
