25th October 2014

To: Hemel Hempstead Cycling Club

Dear Members

Notification of the 2014 Annual General Meeting

The 81st Annual General Meeting of Hemel Hempstead Cycling Club will take place on:

Date: Monday 10th November 2014
Time: 7.30 pm
Venue: HHCC Club Room, Nash Mills Recreation Centre, Nash Mills Lane, King's Langley, Hertfordshire. HP3 9TE

Attached is a copy of the Agenda, including the 2013 minutes, 2014 Accounts and the Officers reports for 2014.
Please make every effort to attend the meeting, if this is not possible please complete the attached proxy form and return to the secretary.

At the AGM the current committee will be dissolved, with the exception this year of General Secretary (to be elected in 2015) and the Treasurer (to be elected in 2016) and a new committee and officers elected. Please do give some thought into becoming a committee member or an officer, particularly Runs Secretary and General Committee Members, bringing new ideas, although if you have an interest in any position, please step forward. It isn’t an onerous task with the committee meeting every 2 months for a couple of hours. We are a blossoming club and need all of your help and input to keep it going and to continue the success we have had thus far. If you would like to become involved and can spare a couple of hours every 2 months please complete the attached nomination form. It needs to be returned to club secretary, David Rogers by November 9th 2014.

I look forward to seeing as many of you as possible at the AGM.

Many thanks

David Rogers

Please remember that the AGM is just over a week away and as yet I haven't been inundated with nominations for roles within the committee. This is your chance to get involved with the running of the club and have your say or represent the general membership of the club.
Please make every effort to attend the meeting, a great deal of work goes on behind the scenes which you may not be aware of, come along and support the club, all members are welcome, we look forward to seeing faces old and new.

Dave
