HHCC Cross Course Setup - Sat 13th Oct

Postby Simon Hemington » Tue Oct 09, 2012 4:15 pm

Hi All

The time is upon us again when we are promoting our round of the Central Cyclo Cross League. Full details of the races are here () and at the time of writing we have had over 50 entries, with 150 plus expected on the day.

As normal we need to set the course out on Saturday afternoon so that it is all ready for the first race at 10:30 on the Sunday morning.

We will meet at 13:00 on Saturday at Longdean School in the Hill Common car park and provided enough people come we should be finished in two to three hours.

I know Sam and Sarah are coming to help Keith and I setup. Is anybody else able to come along? I am particularly looking for help from those members that plan to race on Sunday. I want you guys to test ride a couple of laps and check the course changes are good.

Let me know if you can come.

I think it's more likely to be Tom rather than Sarah (although Sarah will definately be there on Sunday to marshal etc.).

See you there.

Thanks to all. See you later on.

Keith says he has had 80 odd pre entries. If we get the same number of entries on the line it will make all our efforts worthwhile.

Well there'll be another entry from me ! Royaly peeing down in Milton Keynes right now - could be fun !

Sorry I couldn't join you today - domestic arrangements dictated otherwise, but thanks for everyone's efforts. See you tomorrow !

I think the course designers have excelled themselves this year - the new start will be very fast and fair - there shouldn't be any hold-ups like at MK.

Once again, I reckon this will be the best course on the Central League circuit - just needs a hurdle to break up the long grass section

See you all tomorrow - gonna be fast and furious
