Adeyfield schools cycling day

Postby hbojarski » Tue May 15, 2007 2:07 pm

On Thursday 24th May, British Cycling's Graham MacNamee (commonly known as Mac) is putting on an inter-schools cycling day at Adeyfield School in Hemel Hempstead.

He's asked if anyone from the club would like to go along, help out, and promote cycling in general and HHCC in particular to the local youngsters. The morning session is for primary school age, and the afternoon for secondary school. There will be a range of activities such as grass track, slow control & handling skills, bike limbo and other fun competitions. I know from previous sessions that it is great fun and the kids can't get enough.

If you could spare an hour or more then I'd love to hear from you; or to find out more then you can contact Mac direct (his details are on the BC website). You don't need any experience or qualifications, just an enthusiasm for all things bike.
