Welwyn Track Training Sessions

Postby Simon Hemington » Tue Jun 14, 2011 8:07 am

Ian B and I went down to Welwyn last night for the Monday night training session.

It started at 7PM and consisted of a warm up, sprint training, Italian pursuit and warm-down. I think both Ian and I would say it was pretty hard but a lot of fun. It was also well structured in that you went as hard as you could personally - the coaches did an excellent job of structuring the session so that nobody was left behind.

It would be suitable for anybody aged 8 and up who has done a Newport session and knows what a fixed bike is all about. They also run beginners sessions on Saturdays for complete novices.

Lets try and get a few more over there. Bikes are available for hire (Look pedals). and it is only 20 minutes from Hemel.
