Note that the course does have a number of potholes on it... but that the state of the roads in general are better than on the old course, especially that of the old back narrow road, which has gone from bad to almost unridable in the last year.

Also note that the race HQ will not be Botolph Claydon village hall, but a school in Winslow (approx 3 miles away), so the race will start on the road (after coming through the town neutralised) from Winslow to East Claydon, coming up the hill into the village to enter the circuit.

I fancy doing a recce of the course so I can plan where to get cramp and where my lungs will explode. Noon seems a bit late to me, I would rather get there for 1030 or earlier, this would mean leaving Hemel about 0830 or 0800 for Sam! Are you planning to ride out to the Claydons? we could hook up with Baynsey en route somewhere like Wing or Stewkley. The weather is looking ok for Sunday on the long range, fingers crossed.

JL,
Sam, Sarah & I are recceing the North Roads CC Hard Riders TT course first thing on Sunday before driving over for a lunchtime Spring Chicken recce. All three of us are competing in the North Roads CC event the following week :)

If it is of any use; me, Chad & a few of the LBRCC-Solgar lads are riding over to the Spring Chicken course for a couple of laps on Saturday (16/02/13). We'd aim to get over there for around 09:30 and will be on the course for a couple of hours so you could hook up with us mid morning for a lap?

Let me know if this suits?

Baynsey
